Porcelain veneers are a great option to makeover your smile.
At your initial visit your dentist will anesthetize the area and then remove a thin layer of enamel from the surfaces of the teeth to be veneered. This is usually the front six teeth. An impression or mold is then taken of your teeth and sent to a dental lab to make the permanent veneers. Then temporary restorations are created in the office to protect your teeth while the lab creates your veneers. In about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks the lab will return the finalized veneers. At this point, the temporary veneers are removed and the permanent ones will be tried in and cemented.
